PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT MEDIATION

PURPOSE

Prenuptial Agreement Mediation offers couples the opportunity to prevent future issues from arising in the event of a divorce or death.  When couples plan to get married they are often wearing rose-colored glasses and are not considering the legal and financial consequences of their decision to marry.  But frequently couples marry when they have established careers, significant property, retirement benefits and children from prior relationships.   Marrying in these situations may create unexpected and unwanted legal outcomes in the event of a divorce or dissolution that are surprising and do not follow the intentions of the couple.
